Description:
Become your own Carbon Cop and monitor your household electricity usage in
detail with the WattsClever Power Monitor. You simply enter your local energy
cost per unit (you have both peak and off-peak rates) and you'll be able to
monitor your entire household usage costs and carbon emissions in real time,
updated continuously. It also has a PC connection via the supplied USB cable,
so that you can log up to 4 years usage and graph your power consumption habits
by the hour, day, week or month. This enables you to pin-point where your household
is consuming excess electricity - it could be the kids running the aircon all
night, or someone leaving the lights on constantly - and be able to modify your
usage habits accordingly. The main display unit even has a little graph showing
yesterday's power usage for the night, day and evening, as well as cycling the
kWh consumption for the last day, week and month. This enables you to see your
power usage habits at a glance, and know that you are on track to reducing your
carbon footprint or not. It's very easy to install and doesn't require any wiring
or modifications. The wireless transmitter sensor unit is installed in your
fuse box, and your power consumption will be wirelessly transmitted to the main
unit sitting inside the house. Mains plugpack included. Sensor unit requires
2 x D batteries.
